Robert Abrams

Robert W. Abrams, 68, of Ashland, died Thursday, March 17, 2005 at Leesburg Regional Medical Center, Florida. Born October 18, 1936, in Ashland, Ohio, to Theodore Kermit and Ruth Doris Wilbur Abrams. He retired as a truck driver with Overnite Transportation and was an independent trucker with Sarver Paving.

He is survived by his wife, Olive Faye Abrams, whom he married February 22, 1992; a daughter and son-in-law, Patty and Darl Snader of Ashland; a son, Kenny Abrams of Savannah; a grandson, Lucas Snader of Ashland; a granddaughter, Kristina Abrams; a stepdaughter and her companion, Vicki Pence and Jim Mullins of Rock Hill, South Carolina; three step-grandsons, Matthew Schmitz and his wife, Missy, Justin Schmitz and Tyler Schmitz; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Mim Wing.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be in Ashland Cemetery at a later date. The Ashland home of Wappner Funeral Directors assisted the family with arrangements.
