

Robert A. Snow Sr., 79, of Galion, Ohio passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2016 after a battle from a lengthy illness. He was born on April 9, 1937 in Kimball, West Virginia to Delmer and Mary (Sulic) Snow.
In his earlier years, Bob enjoyed softball, bowling, and golf. Robert joined the Army Air Corps in 1950 and served during the Korean Conflict with 101st Airborne Division also known as Screaming Eagles out of Fort Campbell, Kentucky. He was an active member of the American Legion in Galion. Bob was a Michigan fan and enjoyed watching Detroit Tigers. He also always enjoyed a good debate.
Bob is survived by his two sons, Robert A Jr. (Theresa) Snow of Mt. Vernon, and Sean M. (Pam) Snow of Ashland; six grandchildren, Anna Snow, Cameron Snow, Rachel Snow, Mackenzie Snow, Joseph Snow, and Kylie Snow; two sisters, Helen Bishop of Galion, and Lou Dillon of Welch, West Virginia; one brother, Carlisle (Betty) Snow of Mansfield, and numerous nieces and nephews, including one special niece, Brenda Dillon of Galion.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Sharon Snow; his sister, Patricia Lawrence; and a special nephew Kevin Snow.
A graveside service, officiated by Pastor Matthew Pond, will be held on Friday, May 13, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Mansfield Memorial Park in Ontario, Ohio. The service will be concluded by the United States Air Force Honor Guard. Contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans through any First Knox National Bank to the Robert A. Snow Sr. Memorial Fund.
