Roger Zellner

Roger L. Zellner, 55, of 55 Wood St. died Friday morning December 14, 2001 at Mansfield Memorial Homes following an extended illness. Mr. Zellner was born November 12, 1946 in Red Bank, Tennessee residing in the Mansfield area most of his life. He had worked as house manager of a group home in Nevada, Ohio and was a veteran of the United States Army serving during Vietnam. Roger was a loving father and grandfather.

Surviving are two sons and one daughter-in-law, Jeffrey W. Zellner of Chattanooga, Tennessee; and Steven V. and Jamie Zellner of Mansfield; one grandson, Kyle Zellner of Mansfield; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Allen and Cheryl Zellner and Melvin and Cheryll Zellner all of Mansfield. He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil D. and Vera A. Zellner; and one son, Roger Lee Jr.

Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors on Monday December 17, 2001 one hour prior to funeral services, which will be held at 1:00 p.m. conducted by the Rev. Richard Pass. The Richland County Joint Veterans Council will conduct graveside services at Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Society.
