Ronald Mitchell Cantey, 61, of Ontario, Ohio, passed away on January 18, 2019. He was born November 15, 1957 in Lugoff, South Carolina to Thomas and Sally (Keyes) Cantey. Ronnie graduated from Wooster High School and Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio.
Ronnie was formerly married to Rebecca Cail. He also leaves to cherish his memory his eldest son Teyron Mitchell Cantey, middle son Diondre Willis Cantey and youngest child, daughter Aleiya Marie Cantey; a brother, Thomas Cantey, sisters Sally House, Sadie White, Lula Durden, Bernice Johnson, and Betty Crawford; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
The memorial service conducted by Rev. Lottie Smith will be held at 12 pm on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Second Baptist Church, 245 South Grant Street, Wooster, OH 44691. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is honored to serve the family of Ronnie Cantey.
