
Ronald Hayes, 43, of Mansfield, died unexpectedly Monday morning in Mansfield. Born August 3, 1961 in Mansfield, he was the son of Charles Hayes and Verna Simms Hayes-Nolen. He received his Associates of Applied Science Degree at NCTC and was an engineer at Shafer Valve Company since 1984. Mr. Hayes attended Berean Baptist Church and Grace Brethren Church. He loved to golf and was a quiet and reserved man.
Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Robin Hayes of Mansfield; two daughters and son-in-law, Donna and Matt Ferguson of Mansfield, and Karen Hayes of Mansfield; three grandchildren, Stuart, Collin, and Naddelynne Ferguson; two sisters and brother-in-law, Shirley and Mike Tolliver, and Bert Bartlett, all of Mansfield; one half brother, Charles Cooper of Port Clinton; mother and step father, Verna and Gene Nolen of Crestline; mother-in-law, Wanda Shank of Perrysville; brother-in-law, Lee Loring of Crestline; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Hayes; and two sisters, Linda Skolnick and Helen Loring.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday November 18, 2004 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday November 19 at the funeral home with Pastor David Pound officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the family or to the donor's choice.
