Ronald E. Knight, 78, of Shelby, died Saturday evening, July 26, 2014 at OhioHealth MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. He was born December 25, 1935 in Shelby to the late Evelyn (Snyder) and Guy Clifford Knight. Ron enjoyed gardening and golfing in his spare time. He retired from Miami Systems (formerly Shelby Salesbook) after 44 years of service.
He is survived by is wife, Janet Southard Knight; daughter, Amy (Jim) Adkins; three sons, Michael (Beth) Knight, Ronald (Stephanie) Knight II and James (Michelle) Knight; five grandchildren; and one sister, June Spangler.
Following Ron's wishes, private services will be held at a later date. The Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is privileged to serve the family.
