
Ronald Dale 'Bondo' McKinney, 56 years old of Mansfield, died Friday, October 22, 2004 in MedCentral Health System Mansfield Hospital. He was born October 14, 1948 in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, the son of Howard McKinney and Deloris Gray. He was a social member of V.F.W. Post 3494 where he served as Santa Claus for many years, Past Master of Mansfield Masonic Lodge #35, F. & A.M., and the Sons of Herman. He was the past owner of McKinney Auto and also worked at Franklin Body where he was well known for his work with auto body and painting.
Surviving are his mother, Deloris McKinney; four daughters, Roni Gaye Garrison of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Tina McKinney of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Melissa Turesson of Mansfield, Heather Sheline of Troy, Ohio; son, Stephen Miller of Tarboro, North Carolina; six grandchildren, Rhanda McKinney, Keylee Garrison, Brenna Garrison, Meghan Sheline, Ethan Sheline, Vance Turesson; nieces and nephews, Sarah Ferguson, Corina McKinney, Waylon Wyatt, John Marshall; three great-nieces and nephews, Colin Ferguson, Ryan Ferguson, Madigan Marshall; a host of special friends, including Ron Moore; two sisters, Ruby Ashcraft of Paris, Kentucky, Debbie Wyatt of Washington Court House, Ohio; and a brother, Charlie McKinney of Flemingsburg, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra McKinney; father Howard McKinney; and niece, Stephanie Marshall
Friends will be received 5-8, Tuesday, October 26 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Memorial contributions may be made to the Horse Club of the Sons of Herman or the V.F.W. National Home.
