Ronald "Rock" R. Wilkinson

Ron was born on June 15, 1937 in Mansfield, Ohio. He was the son of Ralph Wilkinson and Susan (Franko) Duffey. Ron proudly served in the United States Air National Guard. Ron delivered milk for Borden and Smith Dairy for 27 years, and sold life insurance with Western and Southern and with Jefferson Standard. He also worked at Therm-O-Disc. He was a member of the VFW Grace Street Post where he was the Trustee of the Auxiliary, and Amvets on Fourth Street. A hard worker, he could always be found tending to his rental properties and working in his yard. Ron enjoyed reading especially James Patterson and westerns. Ron and his wife enjoyed rides on his motorcycle with his wife riding in the side car.

He leaves behind his wife whom he married on May 7, 1983, Mary (Billman) Wilkinson; his children, Ralph (Kathy) Wilkinson, Susan Luntz, and Russ (Debbie) Wilkinson; 24 grandchildren; 24 plus great-grandchildren; his step children, Bill (Louis) Denton, Mary (Jim) Andrews, and Chuck (Janet) Denton; his brother, Chuck (Shirley) Wilkinson; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sons, Ronald T. Wilkinson and Randy A. Wilkinson; a stepson, James Denton; and his siblings, Charlotte Markosian and David Wilkinson.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 31, 2021 in Mansfield Cemetery. A gathering will be held for family and friends with a potluck dinner from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at the VFW, 806 Grace Street, Mansfield, OH 44905.
