Rosalee Bradshaw, 82, of Bellville, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at her home. She was born August 12, 1943, in Olive Hill, Kentucky, one of nine children to the late William and Edna (Elam) Boggs.
Rosalee moved to Mansfield in 1954 and made a home in Bellville in 1992. She was the beloved wife of Larry Bradshaw, whom she met in October of 1957. The couple married on January 26, 1959, and together, they raised seven children.
Rosalee’s love for her family was unwavering, and she expressed this love through her cooking, her nurturing presence, and her daily devotion to them. Her children knew they were loved every minute of their lives. She was known for preparing delicious meals, especially for holidays and birthdays, making sure that her home was always filled with warmth, laughter, and a sense of peace. The phrase you can’t go home meant nothing to those she loved, as everyone knew they could always go home to her. Rosalee was a friend to everyone and a source of comfort. Rosalee was a wonderful devoted loyal wife, sister, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother and dear friend.
Rosalee had a strong spiritual foundation and found comfort in journaling and reading the Bible. She was a woman of deep faith, and this devotion guided her in everything she did. Whether in the kitchen or in quiet moments of reflection, Rosalee's life was a living example of unconditional love and care for others. She was our beloved “Tade”.
Rosalee is survived by five children, Jeffery (Kathy) Bradshaw, Sheila Bradshaw (Marty Huffman), Brenda (Sonnie) Hermann, Alice Matthews, and Matt (Celeste) Bradshaw; thirteen grandchildren, Tiffiney, Timberly, Brittney, Morgan, Alec, Dylan, Dane, Joshua, Hunter, Blake, Race, Gunner, and Dax; nine great grandchildren, Dougie, Skyler, Emilia, Olivia, Adria, Theo, Rowan, Ezra, and Siena; and three siblings, Ilda Stallard, Jannetta Huffman, and Cecil Boggs.
In addition to her parents, William and Edna Boggs, Rosalee is preceded in death by her husband, Larry V. Bradshaw; sons Shannon Bradshaw and Christopher Bradshaw, grandson, Jarred Bradshaw; sister, Christine Hanshaw; and brothers, Beryl Boggs, George Boggs, Clifford Boggs, and Roy Boggs.
There are many other loved family and friends, nieces and nephews, especially her brother and sisters-in-law, both living and deceased, that shared and enriched her life.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Ohio Health Compassus Care Hospice for providing great support and comfort to Rosalee and her family.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 pm on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at Wappner Funeral Directors and Crematory-Mansfield, 98 S. Diamond Street. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm. She will be laid to rest in Mansfield Cemetery.
