Rose Daugherty Osgar

Rose E. Daugherty Osgar, 78, of 27 W. Second St. died Sunday, May 27, 2001 at Med Central Mansfield. She was born August 30, 1922, in Butler, Ohio to the late Andrew and Katherine Scheurer. Mrs. Osgar resided in Mansfield all of her life.

She worked for many years at Peoples Hospital, and after receiving her LPN license, was employed as a visiting nurse at the Mansfield Health Department. She finished her career as a manager at New Beginnings Recovery House. Mrs. Osgar enjoyed playing cards with her special friends at the West Park Senior Center.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Charlie and Michelle Daugherty, and one daughter, Sharon Daugherty, all of Mansfield; a grandson, Dean and Christina Daugherty of Biloxi, Miss.; four granddaughters, Wendy and Ron Nichols of Wahlalla, S.C.; Sarah Daugherty, Bethany Ramsay, and Charlotte Rose Daugherty, all of Mansfield; four great-grandchildren, Chad and Brandon Nichols of S.C. and Emma And Luke Daugherty of Miss.; she is also survived by one brother, Frank Scheurer of Mansfield. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Andrew and Katherine; one sister, Elizabeth Schambs; and three brothers, George, Bobby, and Andrew Scheurer.

Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, Wednesday, May 30 from 3-6 p.m. A Private graveside service will be held at later date.
