Rose A. Bivens Walker, age 86 died Saturday evening, October 14, 2000, at MedCentral Mansfield following an brief illness. She was born on May 10, 1914 in Columbus, Ohio to Miles Leroy and Clara Belle Carnes Browning and lived in Mansfield most of her life. She was a member of Four Corners Church of God. Rose retired as a receptionist from Mansfield General Hospital.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Martha Jean and Albert Duncan of Mansfield; a son and daughter-in-law, Leroy and Amy Winegardner of Mansfield; four grandsons, one granddaughter, seven great-grandchildren, one nephew and four nieces. She was preceded in death by her three husbands, Ervin E. Winegardner, Howard Bivens, and Robert Walker; her parents, Miles Leroy and Clara Belle Carnes Browning; son Leland Winegardner; half-sister, Clara B. Hicks; brother Homer Browning; and half-brother Charles Hicks.
Friends may call one hour prior to funeral services which will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2000 at Four Corners Church of God at 1052 Lennox Ave. at 1:00 pm conducted by Pastor Nate Rhodes. Burial will be held at Mansfield Memorial Park.
