

Rosemary Carneal Saxton, age 70 died Tuesday afternoon, April 13, 2004, at home. She was born May 12, 1933 in Clifty, Kentucky to the late Benjamin F. Carneal and Ruth Long Carneal. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Rosemary was a member of Mansfield Baptist Temple, living in Mansfield most of her life. She is survived by her husband, Donald A. Saxton; one son and daughter-in law, Douglas and Margaret Knoyer of Munroe Falls, Oh; three daughters and son-in-laws, Diane and Ed Liebal of Warren, Oh, Tracy and Drew Darling of Mansfield, Tiffany and Mike Osgar of Mansfield: one step-daughter and step son-in-law, Ann and Frank Best of Fort Wayne, Indiana; three stepsons and stepdaughters-in-law, Steve and Amy Saxton, Jim and Nyla Saxton and David Saxton all of Fort Wayne, Indiana; nine grandchildren, Erik, Aimee, Melissa, Sheri, Blake, Blair, Demi, Kyle and Hannah; ten step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one step-great-grandson; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Margie and Wilmer McGehee of Marietta, Georgia, Dolly Patrick of Norton, Ohio; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, James and Brenda Carneal, Jerry and Nancy Carneal, Benny Carneal, Danny and Marge Carneal, all of Barberton, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Ruth Carneal, brother, Bland Carneal, sister, Rena Heyneman, and infant sister, Shirley Jayne Carneal.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, Friday, April 16 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and also one hour prior to the funeral service to be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home, conducted by Rev. Dale Adkins. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Akron. Memorial contributions may be made to MedCentral Hospice.
