
Ruby A. Criss, 71, of Mansfield, died Monday, October 1, 2007 at Triumph Hospital. Born November 27, 1935 in Tunnelton, West Virginia, she was the daughter of Floyd and Leone Pyles Brown. She retired from Roseland Screw Machine. Mrs. Criss was affiliated with Alcoholics Anonymous.
She is survived by two sons, Michael Cathy Criss, Dale Criss both of Mansfield; five grandchildren, Michelle Criss of Galion, Mike Jayme Criss of Iberia, Kyle Criss of Mansfield, Melissa Kevin Ensman of Crestline, and Matthew Samantha Criss of Ontario; nine great-grandchildren, Breanne, Alaura, Elijah Criss, all of Iberia, Alyssa and Nicole Criss both of Crestline, Elizabeth Criss of Ontario, Zoe, Gillian, and Hailey Ensman, all of Bellville,; two brothers and sister-in-law, Walter Brown of Rootstown, Robert and Doris Brown of Danville, Virginia; three sisters and brother-in-law, Joanna Milner of Cambridge, Mary Halbritter, and Linda and David Steiding, all of Western Port, Maryland; sister-in-law, Beulah Brown of Columbus; daughter-in-law, Susan Dennison of Mansfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dorsey B. Criss; son, Steve Criss; two brothers, Noble and Junior Brown; and sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Bill Williams.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, October 4, 2007 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home conducted by Pastor David Knipp. Burial will follow in Ontario Cemetery.
