Ruth Sweet

Ruth Helen Sweet, age 81, of  Mansfield, Ohio, died Tuesday, December 21, 1999 at home.  Mrs. Sweet was born September 8, 1918 in Mansfield and has lived in the Greenwich-Mansfield area most of her life.  Mrs. Sweet retired from Westinghouse after 42 years of service. Mrs. Sweet attended Cook Road Baptist Church and was a member of Mr. Music's Music class.

Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Larry Frontz of Melbourne, Florida; two sons and daughters-in-law, F. Thomas and Shirley Sweet of Mansfield, Randy J. and Tammy Sweet of Mansfield; nine grandchildren, Larry A. Frontz, Shannel Hearn, Travis Frontz, Gerald W. Sweet, Truly Sweet, Always Sweet, Really Sweet, Very Sweet and Forever Sweet; seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Junior Sweet in 1996, two sisters; Anna Ballitch and Jane Seitz, and three brothers; William, Charles and Richard Baloy.

Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  Friends may also call at Eastman Funeral Home, Greenwich, Ohio one hour prior to the funeral service, which will be held Tuesday, December 28, 1999 at 1:00 p.m., conducted by Rev. Jack Hackworth. Burial will be held in Ninevah Cemetery, Greenwich, Ohio.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions  may be made to Med Central Home Care/Hospice or American Cancer Society.
