Sandra Edwards

Sandra Lou Edwards, age 70, of Mansfield, Ohio, died December 7, 2010 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. Ms. Edwards was born November 27, 1940 in Marion, Ohio living in the Mansfield area most of her life. She retired from Therm-o-disc after 17 years of services. Sandra's family always came first in her life. She loved music, playing bingo and spending time with her cat Missy.

Surviving are a son, Charles Edwards III of Mansfield; two grandchildren, Amanda Edwards Goddard and April Edwards Hummel both of Mansfield; six great-grandchildren, Amanda's children, Jordan, Jylian & McKaylah; April's children, Ronnie, Katrina & Trevor; a brother, Theodore Hoover, Jr.; a sister, Patricia Poth; numerous nieces & nephews; Amanda & April's mother, Cynthia A. Edwards; special friends, Marlyn Chapman, Brian Smith & Jenny Ball, Phyllis Edwards, Lisa Waidler and Tiffany Garner; numerous close friends from work. She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore & Ruby Snair Hoover; a daughter, Sharol Ann Edwards; a sister, Ila Mae Clinage; great-grandson, Roy Thompson III, and a nephew, Frank Poth Jr.

A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, December 11, 2010, at the First Church of the Open Bible, 1150 Rayfield Road corner of State Rt. 42 and 30 conducted by Dr. John D. Freeman. There will be a family gathering immediately following the service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
