

Sarah L. Reynolds, age 86, of Mansfield, died Saturday, April 17, 2004, at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. She was born July 16, 1917, in Covington, Georgia to James Harvey Marks and Mattie Lou Marks-Cobb. Sarah retired from Essex Wire and was a former member of the N.A.A.C.P. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. Sarah was a very loving and devoted mother and homemaker.
She is survived by a daughter, Arnita Louise Reynolds-Colvin of Mansfield; sister, Corrine Cobb-Sawyer of Covington, Georgia; brothers, James Cobb and Rev. Harold Rita Cobb of Georgia; daughter-in-law, Hattie Reynolds of Mansfield; grandchildren, Vickie Reynolds, Peggy Reynolds-Colvin, Charles 'Chuckie' Reynolds, Vivian Reynolds, LaTanya Colvin-Hardeman, Leta Colvin, Michael Vickie Colvin and Michelle Colvin-Jones; great-grandchildren, LaBreece Reynolds, Sharale Colvin, LonDale Colvin, Martina Colvin, Micah Colvin, Kaleb Colvin, Jasmine Jones, DeAnna Hardeman, MaKayla Colvin, Eddie Christopher Nettles; special godson, Johnny Hardin; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Charlie Reynolds, children, Robert Reynolds, Walter Reynolds, Frances Reynolds, and Josephine Reynolds, granddaughter, Judy Reynolds, daughter-in-law, Flossie Mary Lee Reynolds, son-in-law, Zebbie D. Colvin, sisters, Nell Cobb, Mattie Cobb-Goodman, Jessie Pearl Cobb-Grant and brothers, Nathanial Cobb, Leon Cobb, and Thomas Cobb.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 22 at 1:00 p.m. at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 827 King Street.
