Scott B. Lyons, 45, of Mansfield, died early Monday morning, July 26, 2004, at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. He was born August 21, 1958, in Mansfield to Clifford E. and Mary Fife Lyons. He was employed at Central Beverage and enjoyed golf and bowling. He enjoyed his golden retrievers, Bailey and Camey. Scott was an organ donor and felt very strongly about helping others.
He is survived by his wife, Robin Tamburrino Lyons; two daughters, Brittany and Courtney Lyons, both at home; a grandson, Jordan; mother and stepfather, Mary and Gene Henke of Mansfield; brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Sue Lyons of Atlanta, Georgia; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Sheila Roberts and Kellie and Randy Stone, all of Mansfield; two half-brothers, Blake Lyons and his wife, Vikki of Atlanta, Georgia and Frederick Lyons and his wife, Cristi, of Williamsburg, Virginia; a half-sister, Vikki Pfaff and her husband, Jim of Columbus; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Lyons.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, Wednesday, July 28, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Garth Crundwell. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Richland County Humane Society.
