Thomasine Kampf

Thomasine M. Kampf, 82 of Mansfield died Sunday evening January 7, 2001 at MedCentral Mansfield following a brief illness. Mrs. Kampf was born December 4, 1918 in Sicily residing in the Mansfield area most of her life. She owned and operated Tommie's Beauty Salon and attended St. Peters Catholic Church. Mrs. Kampf was a member of Daughters of Italy.

Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Phillip and Allison Kampf of Houston, Texas; and Jack and Lynn Kampf of Bellville, Ohio; four grandchildren, Jason and Matthew Kampf of Houston, Texas; Melaina Kampf of Cleveland, Ohio and Eric Fyke of Bellville, Ohio; three sisters, Sarah Morelli and Mary Hergatt both of Mansfield and Kate Alacca of Florida; and one brother, Tom Letizia of Mansfield. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Kampf in 1989; one sister, Angelina and one brother, Connie.

Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors on Wednesday January 10, 2001 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home conducted by St. Peters Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
