Vera Kennedy

Vera Pauline Kennedy, 93, of Mansfield, passed away Monday, September 30, 2013 at the home of her daughter. Born on December 16, 1919 to William and Dealla (Sanderson) Ault, Pauline was raised on a farm first in Wood County, OH before moving to Chesterville as a teenager. She was a homemaker then later retired from ThermoDisc where she was a line-worker. After the death of her first husband, she remarried and moved to the Columbus area. Pauline enjoyed music, dancing, playing cards, socializing, helping people, and being around children. She also enjoyed traveling all over the U.S. Pauline was also an active member of the East Mansfield Presbyterian Church and the East Mansfield Grange.

Pauline is survived by her three children, Danny Kennedy (Cathy), Prattville, AL, Patricia Kennedy, Muncie, IN, and Donald Kennedy (Colleen), Columbus, OH; five grand children; three great grand children; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; three brothers; first husband Daniel Kennedy; and second husband Charles White.

The funeral service, conducted by Rev. George Reece, will be Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 1:00p.m., at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street, Mansfield, OH 44902. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:00p.m.. Burial in Mansfield Cemetery will follow the service.
