

Viola L. Haring, 95 of Mansfield died Friday afternoon February 4, 2005 at Lexington Court Care Center. Born June 28, 1909 in Tremont, Illinois, she was the daughter of John and Elizabeth Sauder Getz. She was a lifetime member of Ontario Christian Fellowship and church organist for 25 years. Mrs. Haring enjoyed the Fifty Plus Group of the church, quilting, and being with her family. She also traveled to Europe, South America, and in the western United States.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, John Leonard and Gloria Haring, of Lucas, Arthur A. and Helga Haring, of Mansfield, and Samuel L. and Mari Haring of Delaware, Ohio; one daughter and son-in-law, Lois E. and Daniel Galat of Mansfield; 16 grandchildren; and 39 great grandchildren. She was the last survivor of her family. Mrs. Haring was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Haring, whom she married January 1, 1928 and died January 2, 1980; and one daughter, Ruth Ann Haring, who died in 1947.
Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday February 6, 2005 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Ontario Christian Fellowship Church with Pastor Kim Maurer officiating. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Nepomuceno Children's Orphanage, Viola Haring Memorial Fund, c/o Ontario Christian Fellowship.
