
Virginia M. Ginter Howard, 76, of Mansfield, died unexpectedly, Friday morning, October 21, 2005 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. Born April 21, 1929 in Leesville, she was the daughter of Boyd and Sadie Gregory Ginter. She retired from Crestwood Care after 30 years of service as a nurse's aid.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Kay and Peter Toth of Mansfield; six grandchildren, Wendy Sargent of Texas, Shannon Sargent of Texas, Allan Lewis of Lucasville, Robert Lewis of Mt. Gilead, Tina Lewis of Ft. Lauderdale, and Terry Clark, Jr. of Mansfield; and eight great-grandchildren; her first husband, John Sargent of La Mont, California; one brother, Floyd Ginter of Upper Sandusky; three sisters and brother-in-law, Elizabeth Hensley of Bucyrus, Dorothy Alspach of Nevada, Ohio, and Alice and Larry Hussey of Celina; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Howard; parents; two sons, Johnny and Donnie Sargent; one brother, Lloyd Ginter; four sisters, Naomi Mona Perkins, Vera Hetrick, Mary Ann Ginter, Leona Ginter.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, October 24, 2005 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 25 at the funeral home conducted by Pastor Gene E. Witzky. Burial will follow in Broken Sword Cemetery.
