

Wanda Dicus, age 80, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Saturday morning, September 29, 2012. Born June 2, 1932 in Mansfield, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Bertha (Huss) Oyster.
She graduated from Mansfield Senior High School, Class of 1950. Wanda’s wonderful sense of humor and giving spirit enabled her to be a supportive friend to all. Wanda lived her faith every day and loved the Lord, attending Calvary Baptist Church in Shelby. She was very loving and always put her family first. Wanda retired from the Key Bank branch at the intersection of Springmill St. and Bowman St. after 21 years as a teller. In her spare time, she enjoyed working in the yard and traveling.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband of 62 years, James Dicus; daughters, Sherry (Ray) Sasarak of Mansfield and Barbara (Art) Duncan of Butler; four grandchildren, Stephanie (Kent) Kauffman, Greg (Jennifer) Sasarak, Matt (Kristen) Duncan and Angie (Brad) Fennewald; two great-grandchildren, Brandon and Hunter Kauffman; a sister, Donna Wells of Mansfield; a brother, Richard Oyster of Ashley, OH; and numerous nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by twin siblings, Lester Jr. and Jean Oyster.
Friends and family may visit from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield. Additional visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Thursday, October 4 at the funeral home followed by the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Steven Schag of Calvary Baptist Church will conduct the service. Burial will follow in Bellville Cemetery.
