William "Bill" T. Davidson

William "Bill" T. Davidson, 62, of Shelby, passed away on Friday, November 22, 2019 at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. Bill was born on April 1, 1957 in Mansfield, Ohio. He was the son of Lewis and Ileen (Northway) Davidson.

Bill was a 1976 graduate of Ontario High School and was employed at Newman Technology for nineteen years. He loved to be active and be outdoors while doing some of his favorite activities such as basketball, golfing, running, fishing, and hunting. He also enjoyed card games and board games. Bill was known by many for giving others a hard time, but in a good way. He was always joking and knew that laughter brought happiness to the lives of others. A family man, Bill enjoyed spending time with his family, and will be missed by them.

Bill leaves behind to cherish many fond memories his significant other, Nancy Schmitzer; his son, Mike (Megan) Davidson; his grandchildren, Hayden and Eli; his sisters, Cathy Brown and Linda Jackson of Washington State; his brother, Terry (Charlotte) Davidson; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a stepmother, Norma Davidson; and his sister, Irene (Davidson) Pauley.

Family and friends may gather from 11:00 am -1:00 pm on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street. A memorial service will follow immediately at 1:00 pm. Please consider making memorial contributions to the National MS Society.
