Zena "Alice" Reeder

Alice was a dedicated Jehovah's Witness who loved sharing her faith with others. She was a very kind and loving person. She loved her family and friends. She was very hospitable, always willing to put others ahead of herself. She was a loving wife and mother to her family and had many talents. Besides being a very good cook, she enjoyed sewing, gardening, carpentry, decorating, and inventing things. She also loved playing her piano, guitar and violin. She also had a great sense of humor.

Alice is survived by her son, Danny Reeder or Berea, KY; daughters, Karen (Mike) Hanners of Mansfield and Beverly Lewis (Cary) of Willow Spring, NC; seven grandchildren, Brian Hanners of Mansfield, Dathan (Bethany) Hanners of Garner, NC, Matthew Hanners of Mansfield, Christopher Reeder of Berea, KY, Abigail (Justin) Neeley of Beattyville, KY, Cameron Lewis of Mansfield and Mariah Lewis of Cary, NC; twin great-grandsons, Logan and Liam Hanners of Garner, NC; many nieces and nephews; and a brother, Joseph Cooper of Galion.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Reeder; parents, Willis and Mary Cooper; brothers, William Cooper and John Cooper; and sisters, Joyce Jordan and Coleen Jordan.

A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1780 Middle Bellville Rd. Mansfield, Ohio, on August 17, 2019, at 4:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
