Born July 14, 1958, and raised in Millbury Massachusetts, Jeff left home at 19 to Join the Marines. Following his military service, he chose Arizona as his home, spending the past 42 years building a life in Tucson. During this time, he dedicated over 30 years to PFI as General Manager.
He retired at the age of 60 to focus on his passions: gardening, creating music, and spending cherished time with family. His love for music was known by all. He was not one to wear his heart on his sleeve, so as a singer, songwriter, he used his music to express the words and emotions closest to his heart.
Jeff is survived by the love of his life and partner of 20 years, Michelle Camarena, his devoted step-children Mike, Marcus, and Matthew, whom he loved as his own, his beloved grandson Ayden, and his nephews Mike (Amanda) and Matthew (Ashley) Collette.
Jeff is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Doris Collette, and brothers, Michael and David, as well as his dog Jake.
Jeff was a wonderful and loving partner, son, brother, dad, grandpa and friend. He truly had a beautiful soul and will be forever missed. His mark on life and those around him will not easily be diminished.
Family services will take place on December 8 at 2:00 PM at Michelle’s home. A memorial gathering will follow at 3:00 PM at the Countryside Community Center, 9151 N. Bald Eagle Ave, Tucson, AZ.
Thank you to Marana Mortuary Cemetery.
