Larry Fred Hoffman passed away on October 4, 2023, after a lengthy illness. Larry and his brother Garry Lee were the first identical twins born in the new hospital. They arrived on March 16, 1947 to parents Fred and Carolyn Hoffman. Larry lived in Flagstaff his entire life, attending Marshal elementary school, Flagstaff Jr. High School, and Flagstaff High School. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1966-1970 during the Vietnam War. On July 1, 1967, he married his wife, Lorie, and they shared 56years together. He worked hard his whole life to support his growing family. In 2013 he retired from Walgreens Distribution Warehouse. He was a huge Boston Red Sox fan, and you could always see him rooting for them to beat those Yankees. He absolutely loved music and art of all kinds. He was truly an encyclopedia of knowledge when it came to any song or band. Most afternoons you could find him playing Chess with his brother Garry.
He leaves behind his wife Lorie, six children-Shelly Hoffman, Kim Kuczynski (Bill), Corie Custer (Heath), Bree Hoffman-Hodgson (Nathan), Brandon Hoffman (Shania), and Sean Hoffman; eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild, brother Garry Hoffman (Judy), and many, many nieces and nephews, mother-in-law Nelda Collins, brother-in-law Gary Collins (Sharon), sisters-in-law Gail Parsons and Susan Bjorklund (Tim). He was preceded in death by Fred Hoffman (father), Carolyn Hoffman (mother), and Michael Hoffman (brother)
