Ricky Walker

He coined the phrases “if you’re not living on the edge, you’re taking up too much room”, “bawl baby sh!t a$$”, “Boomer Sooner”, “sh!tter’s full”, “What’s goin’ on, man?”, “jimmy jams” and “let’s seeee…”.

Rick was one hell of a Manufacturing Engineer at Price Industries and was dubbed the name “Metal Man”. He was passionate about many things including restoring old vehicles, classic rock music, cold beer, classic car shows, coins, gems and minerals, his dog, photography, his family, and his friends. His smile was contagious and will be missed dearly.

To keep his legacy alive, Rick leaves behind: His incredible, red headed, crazy, loving, beer drinking best friend of a wife, Kay Cornall-Walker. His 4 beautiful, perfect, flawless daughters who never gave him any trouble at all, Chelsie Rathbone (Nathan), Haley Fox (Adam), Rikki Gates (Anthony) and Rhiannon Cornall-Walker (single and looking). His siblings who fell victim to Rick’s cruel pranks, Frances Wilmes (Wayne), Connie Rae and Steven Meckle (Jodi). His 4 ugly grandchildren who didn’t have nearly enough time with him, Wyatt Rathbone, Kenley Browning, Carter Browning and Addison Fox. His four-legged fur baby whose bark he couldn’t stand, Harley (aka Harles Barkley). Several amazing nieces and nephews and other family members as well as multiple friends who were more like family that he loved dearly.

Rick has been reunited with his father, William (Bill) Kelley, his mother, Ann Kelley, and his brother, Ray Kelley. Rick and Ray are most likely on probation and close to getting kicked out of heaven now that the two jokesters are at it again.

A memorial celebration will be held on Saturday, August 14th, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Marana Mortuary followed by a gathering for the amateur and professional alcoholics at the family’s home.

In lieu of flowers that will most likely die anyway, please send donations in Rick’s memory to the “Alzheimer’s Association” or “Handmaker Jewish Services for the Aging” if you feel inclined to do so. Per Rick’s request, his brain has been donated for Alzheimer’s research. He’s making a difference in the lives of others even after he has left his earthly body behind.

We wonder if they will find the part of his brain that contains his secret to living a truly happy and fulfilling life. Instead, they’ll most likely find the arsenal of pranks he pulled over the years.

Although his family is deeply saddened by his loss, we choose to keep his memory alive through humor, great music and good beer. We encourage you to do the same! Party on, Ricky. You are so loved!
