With family and friends she celebrated her 100th birthday on January 15, 2024. She had a wonderful time and was on cloud nine to have her home full to the brim with loved ones.
Addie, (Mazie, as some like to call her), loved life. You could always find her outdoors enjoying the breeze, listening to the birds, watching the squirrels, looking at the roses. Outdoors was her paradise. God, family and friends were her line of defense. She was a woman of strong faith.
She was born in Lampasas, Texas to Curn and Mary McHorse but grew up in San Saba, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Curn and Mary McHorse, nine siblings, husband Bill Sauer, great grandson John Isaiah Rodriguez and daughter in law Jean Ketchum.
She is survived by her three children, five grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Spicewood Baptist Church in her name.
