

Anita Jane Mosteller Pullen of Highland Haven, was born December 14, 1946 in Austin, TX to Alice Wilkinson Mosteller and Frank B. Mosteller. She went home to be with her Lord on November 24, 2012 after a 15 year long courageous battle with breast cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Aaron Atwood. She is survived by her husband Don Pullen of Highland Haven, brother Raymond Mosteller of Temple City, CA, sister Alice Wright of Austin, TX, son Terrence Atwood & wife Melissa of Kennewick, WA, daughter Catherine Frailey & husband James of Marble Falls, TX, sep-daughter Sandra Still & husband Ray of New Braunfels, TX , step-daughter Becky Staggs & husband Paul of Conroe, TX , grandchildren Wyatt Frailey, Dylan Frailey, Mitchell Still, Emily Leykum and Lydia Basinski and great-grandson Jaycen Basinki.
When her disease reoccurred in 2004, Anita became active in the American Cancer Society by being involved in the Relay for Life. She was also certified by the American Cancer Society in their Reach for Recovery, where she could visit with newly diagnosed cancer patients. Anita and two friends started the Circle of Hope care group and through the American Cancer Society, she established the “Free Wig Program” in the Highland lakes Area. During her own battle with cancer, Anita focused her energy and life to helping other cancer patients and their families.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Marble Falls First Baptist Church Youth Ministry, American Cancer Society, or Texas Oncology.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 27, 2012 from 5:00PM - 7:00PM at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at 10:00 AM at First Baptist Church
with Ross Chandler and Max Copeland officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park.
