Betty Joan Jenkins

She is survived by her two daughters, Janet Jenkins Kelly (Bill) of Elgin and Lynn Jenkins Smith (Todd) of Tin Top. Betty had four grandchildren: Cody Kelly, Russell Kelly, Paige Smith, and Chad Smith along with two great grandchildren: Madeline Kelly and Rex Kelly with one on the way due March 12th. Her brother, Louis Raymond Rogers of Corpus Christi lives on as well.

A service has not been planned. Her wish was to have her ashes spread across Lake LBJ by her daughters and their families, her brother Louis R. Rogers of Corpus Christi, and her best friend, Elizabeth Bridges of Marble Falls.

Betty never met a stranger. Anybody that knew her would agree with that statement. She was involved with many different activities she shared with her friends including poker, bowling, bridge, and gardening. She loved flowers and always seemed to have vases filled with fresh blossoms in her home. Betty became an avid gambler later in life loving her trips to various casinos with her friend, Elizabeth. She will be missed by many.
