Constance Gene Gibson

Connie graduated from El Paso High School in 1964. She spent 28 years working at Marble Falls ISD. Connie enjoyed gardening, birdwatching, reading, spending time with her family and friends and watching her grandkids play sports. She embodied strength and courage facing many challenges throughout her life. Despite those challenges she remained kind and always up for a laugh, witty, and full of sass.

Connie is survived by her son Orion Barry and wife Joanna of Burnet, her daughter Leah Cavitt and husband Jerry of Marble Falls; sister Fay Hamric of Muenster, step-brother Emmett Cook; nieces Danna and Lisa; grandchildren Kayla, Alexa, Marlee, Chandler, Jaci, Joslyn and great grandchildren Addison, Karlie and Emerie. Connie is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

Connie is preceded in death by her mother Lois Ann Curley; her father Robert Earl Rude, husband James Gibson; and brother in-law Dan Hamric.

A Celebration of life will be held Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 10:00 am at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home Marble Falls.
