
Daniel L. Hall, age 78, of Horseshoe Bay, Texas passed away on February 8, 2011. He was born on November 30, 1932 in Gould, Arkansas the son of Daniel Lamar and Lottie Mae Collins Hall.
Daniel is survived by his wife Sara of Horseshoe Bay, Texas, three daughters and sons in law, Catherine and Steve Glick of Shekou, China, Leslie and Tom Frye of Houston, Texas, Danna and Robert Chapman of Houston, Texas and step-daughter and son in law Megan and Aaron Zweig of Plano, Texas; seven grandchildren Sarah, Adam, Katie, Taylor, David, Jackson and Cooper; two great grandchildren, Brody and Presley; two sisters Jeannine Duke of Houston, Texas and Dorothy Fultz of N.C., and a host of loving and supportive friends. He is preceded in death by his parents. Dan graduated with a BS from LSU and a MBA from Northeast Louisiana State College. He was a member of Marble Falls First Baptist Church, AA in Horseshoe Bay and Marble Falls for 9 years and the Republican National Committee. Dan was a veteran of the United States Army and served his country proudly. Dan retired from Gulf Oil and Chevron after 30 years in Midland, Texas. He was a mentor, handyman, wonderful cook, news enthusiast and an avid reader.
A memorial service will be on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Marble Falls, Texas. Arrangements under the direction of Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Marble Falls, Texas. Condolences may be offered at www.clementswilcoxfuneralhome.com
