One of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Gale was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose life was deeply rooted in her care for family and, more importantly, her faith in her creator, Jehovah God.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Ruth Stancer, and by her beloved son, William.
She is survived by her sister, Nancy Dow; her son, Rex Wayne Thompson and his wife Christie; and her daughter, Holly Ann Britton and her husband John. She also leaves behind her treasured grandchildren: Linda Tezuka and her husband Kei; Amanda Davis and her husband Justin; John Cameron Britton and his wife Melonie; and Matthew Thompson and his wife Veronica. Gale was further blessed with great-grandchildren Sophie and Scarlett Davis along with Yoshiya and Benjamin Tezuka, each of whom brought her great joy.
Those who knew Gale will remember her for her happy, positive spirit and friendly way. She faced adversity with humor and always had a kind word for anyone feeling down. She will be deeply missed, but her family finds comfort in the hope found in God’s promise of a resurrection to perfect life on earth, where they will be reunited with her. They look forward to the time when sorrow and loss will be no more (Revelation 21:3,4).
A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, located at 306 W. Dallas Street, Llano, Texas, on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 2:00 p.m.
