James Franklin Sutherland

James was born on July 31, 1943 in Spearman, Texas to James Henry Sutherland and Eileen Ruth Thompkins, third born of 6 children. He went to school in Spearman and went into the USMC in 1962 where he finished his GED requirements and with the GED from the military was accepted to the Dallas Christian College and received his degree in Bible & Pastoral Ministries. He stated many times that the greatest thing that ever happened to him was the day that Jesus came and saved him and that this day is strictly for Jesus for Jesus to try and share his love with everyone. James shared this love with those that he pastored with in Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas.

He was preceded in death by his parents and son, James and his sister, Sue and brother, Mickey.

He is survived by his loving wife, Judith and three daughters, Cindy Milikan , Dixie Bobeck of Spicewood, TX, Leslie Lloyd and husband Rick of Spicewood and 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, one sister, Jo Grubbs and husband RL of Kountz, TX and two brothers, Don of Kountz, TX and Gene of Coleman, OK and a great host of nieces and nephews.

There will be a private family interment at the Marble Falls City Cemetery.
