Janet Lou Hilliard

Janet Lou Hilliard was born April 17, 1948 to Roy Lee Hilliard and Wanda Leah Millsap Hilliard in Brady, Texas.

Janet was the second of their five daughters. She passed from her earthly life to her heavenly home on May 13, 2015 in Marble Falls, Texas. She was married to John David Oldham, Sr., on August 12, 1966. They were blessed with two children. Janet later married Oscar Gonzalez and they were blessed with three children.

She is preceded in death by her parents, former husband John, beloved brother-in-laws Reed Schmidt, Gary Turner and former brother-in-law Johnny Langley.

Janet was baptized in April, 1958. She graduated from Sam Houston High School in Arlington, Texas in 1966. Janet took great pride in everything she did. She was a dedicated and loving mother and grandmother. Her whole world revolved around her entire family. She was known for her kind heart and her love of cooking. She is survived by her five children; John David Oldham, Jr. and wife Tanya, Jana Marie Oldham Davis and husband Martin, Melinda Renea Gonzalez Alford and husband Gary, Oscar Shane Gonzalez and wife Cheryl and Amber Nichole Gonzalez Allen and husband Jack, her nine grandchildren, Loren and Leah, Kandice and Koltyn and wife Betty Faith, Tanner and Taylor, Camberlin and Shayna and Joe Tyler, and her dog Barney.

Janet is also survived by her four sisters, Karen Perkins and husband Jerry, Terri Schmidt, Linda Nelms and husband Toby, and Ronda Turner as well as countless nephews and nieces and their spouses, her aunts Judy Osborne, Alma Millsap and numerous cousins.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 29, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home Chapel in Marble Falls, Texas. Following the service, Janet will be put to rest in Lohn Cemetery, FM 504, Lohn, Texas at 3:00 PM.

The family has requested that in lieu flowers that donations be made to the Lohn Cemetery Association at 1230 FM 504, Lohn, Texas 76852
