Jason Travis Campbell was born in Austin, TX on July 24, 1975 to Karen and Jay Campbell. Travis grew up in Georgetown, and graduated from the University of Texas with a double major in Spanish and Sociology. Travis married his best friend, Karen Bohannon on May 31, 2001. Together, they have four amazing boys, Jayson, Kaiden, Lane and Liam. Faith, family, and friends were the true cornerstones of Travis’ life. He embodied the phrase, “Love God, Love People.” He loved to help his sons grow into Godly young men. He coached their soccer teams, played video games, taught, and mentored them throughout life’s seasons. Travis strove to make every act about caring for his family and every person he interacted with.

Travis spent over a decade working for VisionWeb, where he was a dedicated employee and spent time making his coworkers part of his family. While Travis enjoyed computer programming and valued the people he worked with, his true heart was in his job as a Pastor. He was the Youth Pastor at First Assembly of God in Marble Falls, Texas for many years where he made a lasting impact on students' lives. Travis then became Pastor at Uplift Church in Llano, TX in 2016. He immediately started developing deep friendships and building a community in the Kingdom of Christ. Travis was always available to help anyone who needed it, including those who were in the process of helping him. He was a faithful prayer warrior who continued to intercede for others until his final day on this side of Heaven. He was a great man of love, integrity, strength, and generosity. Travis will be greatly missed by all of those who knew him and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Karen Campbell. He is survived by wife of 20 years, Karen, children: Jayson (18), Kaiden (16), Lane (9), and Liam (9); father, Jay (wife Sandy); siblings Jeremy Campbell (wife Linda) and Lindsay Pierce (husband Jack; nephew: Jaxon and niece: Halli); mother-in-law, Lana Bohannon; sister-in-laws, Kristin Renner (husband Adam) and Jennifer Snyder (husband Jeremy; niece Bridget), extended family and countless friends.

His life will be celebrated at Clement-Wilcox funeral home with a visitation on Monday, July 12 from 5-8 PM and funeral on Tuesday, July 13 at 10 am.

I worked with Travis for 5 years at VisionWeb. As we all know, he had a positive light that you’re drawn towards. Travis played a big part in my career and success but during this time we made an effort to get to know one another, he was committed to getting to know people. I always admired his love and dedication to his family, community and his perseverance through his battle with his illness- he was always in good spirits.
My thoughts are with his family at this time.

Dear Cousins Karen, Jayson, Kaiden, Lane and Liam, Bruce and I want ya'll to know that we are praying for peace and comfort as you bid farewell to Travis and to hold in your hearts that you will meet again one day. Also, God's Word says our loved ones who pass before us will be cheering us on until that day that we reunite with them. God Bless and we sure wish we could be there to Celebrate Travis' life with everyone, but we will say our goodbyes, for now, from Nebraska.

Right now these scriptures gives us peace and comfort and I pray that it will bless ya'll too: Isaiah 57:1-2, "1) Good people pass away; the godly often die before their time. But no one seems to care or wonder why. No one seems to understand that God is protecting them from the evil to come. 2) For those who follow godly paths will rest in peace when they die."

Travis and I worked together at VisionWeb. I've only known him for about 18 months, but in that short time he and I became fast-friends. He was such a gentle spirit, careful in his words and thoughtful in his conversation. He and I often spoke about technical things related to work, and it was clear he was brilliant and very sharp.

We also had lunch many times and used those conversations to share our passion for the Lord, and talk about our walk with Christ. It was here that Travis really shined. I could just tell that his real interest was in service God, and fullfilling his purpose on earth. His curiousity and desire to know more about God was apparent in every discussion.

I will miss him dearly, but I know he is safe in the presence of the Lord, never to experience pain or tears again.

Jeremy and I have been good friends since childhood, and I remember Travis as the kindest older brother.

Never heard a mean word out of him, always cool and fun to be around.

My mother offers her prayers and condolences as well to the Campbell family.

I worked with Travis in the early days of Uprise (Visionweb) and remember him as always lending a hand, willing to help all of us with whatever was needed. He was kind and generous with his time and I'm sure he was exactly like that in his personal life with friends and family. My deepest condolences to all that knew and loved him. I know he will be missed by many. Peace be with.

My brother is a unicorn. Called by God, he answered the call, and delivered the Word. Now he is rewarded with his spot in Heaven.
Hallelujah. Through all the adversity he faced in life he never lost faith. It just made his faith stronger. Looking through the photos, you can see what a special life he had. An amazing family and a special network of friends who were always there for him. He will be dearly missed.

I knew Travis from working with him at VisionWeb for many years. I can say from my heart he is one of the best human beings I have ever known. His patience and kindness never wavered even under times of pressure. He was a dedicated person who just did as much as he could for others. My heart goes out to his family. He will be missed. 💕

I remember Pastor Travis baptizing my granddaughter Faith. I will cherish the photo from Ms. Granny showing this special occasion. Pastor Travis would preach a sermon and you feel Jesus in the room. Pastor Travis was the best Pastor I ever met. I am BLESSED by knowing him. God Bless his family and the family church.

We remember the day that we met Pastor Travis at the Bridge in Hutto. He sat down at our table and he was kind to us among a sea of strangers. We won’t forget his heart for Llano and the mission of God around the world. Love and prayers for God’s comfort and peace from Kenya.

One of my very first memories of Travis… we had become friends, because he was friendly to everyone…

Him and Karen were the youth Pastors at our church, (Pastor Wollmack) was the Pastor…before Bob Wies

I looked at him and saw a glow… he was glowing with LOVE as he always did… he did anything/everything that he could, for the kids…! Not for any other reason, but for them….

I looked at him in Awe… with respect

One day he saw me moving a piece of granite… he was in Awe!!!

We started talking, and we’re both in Awe, with the respect and love that we both instantly had for the other…

Our friendship grew, our brotherhood in Christ grew for the other!!

I am PROUD, that Travis Campbell looked at me as his friend..

To my friend Jeff~ “You sat through the tears and held my hand. Listened to what I had to say.. never mattered to what we were talking about -you always stayed by my side -To let me talk of my loved ones to whether crying or laughing making “Travis Earp” him strong self again.
