Our dearest Husband/Father/Son/Friend Jeffrey Heath Dunn, finished his five year battle with cancer. He passed away peacefully at his home Sunday July 19, 2020, called to Heaven by our Heavenly Father.

Heath is survived by his wife Dwan Michelle Dunn, youngest Son Zachary Dunn, son Patrick Connally, daughter Melanie Luttrell, father Bill Dunn, step-mother Brenda Dunn, mother Sherri Knight, brother Brian Emerson, aunt Linda Dunn several Cousins, nephew, nieces, The Ortiz Family, and closest friends that were like family.

He met his future wife Michelle at Marty McFlys at happy hour where Heath enjoyed playing pool. It was love at first sight when he saw Michelle. They were married August 30, 2010. They were blessed to have birthed their miracle child Zachary on May 21, 2013. Heath was and always will be Zachary’s number one hero.

Heath was born September 10th, 1970 in Mesquite Texas to parents Bill Dunn and Sharon Knight. After graduating High School, Heath began his career in fire and water damage restoration along-side his father. In October of 2019, he received his license as an Independent Adjuster, unfortunately he was unable to continue his dream due to his illness. He intended to work side by side with his wife. Heath had a deep passion for motorcycles. When he was not on his bike he was on the lake boating, at family BBQ’s, watching Zachary swim, or going to the beach, but most importantly loved spending time with his family. He loved to dance and sing to every song, even if he didn’t know the words he would make them up as he’d go. He loved his Route 44 Dr. Pepper’s most people loved coffee but it was a part of his morning ritual. He also enjoyed Wendy’s chocolate frosty, cheesecake, spaghetti, chili, apple pies, mom’s enchilada casserole and his famous jambalaya which no one new his secret recipe.

Heath was a dreamer and always making plans to do things with his family. He defiantly made his mark on the world with whomever he came in contact with. He never met a stranger. He was always thinking about his wife Michelle - that meaning he would call her just to say “What are you doing?” even though he knew exactly what she was doing, just to hear her voice and if he couldn’t get a hold of her he would call someone else to ask them the same thing. He truly was one of a kind and will forever be in our hearts.

Heath was definitely one in a million. There was never a dull moment when he was around, he was the life of the party. His laugh and smile were contagious. He never met a stranger and could talk to anyone ... for hours. He had a heart of gold and if you were lucky enough to know him, you had a true friend for life. I sure am going to miss his calls and texts. He called me at work all the time to talk about everything and nothing. He was always telling me about Zachary’s accomplishments (he was so proud of him & his other children) or he would tell me about plans he had with Michelle or his family. He loved all of them with his whole heart that is one thing for sure. Heath I am going to miss you, but I am also glad you are at peace. I have never seen anyone fight as hard as he did and truly NEVER give up. I love you my friend and will miss you.
Love Monique aka Moniqa as you always called me 😘

I knew Heath from the time he was a toddler. A very ambitious youngster. Gorgeous blonde locks. May God be with your family and friends not just now, but in the many days to come. RIP Heath.

Heath was a very motivated individual which I had the pleasure of knowing for about 15+ years. He always gave 110% in whatever he did. I love that he was able to make so many memories with his family up to the last minute. He will be truly missed. May you Rest In Peace my friend.

I didn't personally know Heath, but I felt like I did through Brenda Dunn. Obviously, he was a very kind and loving man to his family and friends. Now, he is with God and is suffering no more.

Bill Dunn and family... When one of our own hurts, we hurt with them. I never met Heath. And I cannot begin to understand the depth of your pain of losing a child. I've always told my kids they are not allowed to die before me. I don't always understand God's ways, but I do know that He is ALWAYS there with us. You have many, many friends praying for you and your precious family at this time. We grieve with you. And we will stand silently by your side, as you try to make sense of it all. My utmost heartfelt condolences to you and your family during this devastating time. Vicki

What a beautiful, happy soul! He was truly one of a kind! Our family is praying for Michelle and Zachary and their whole family and friends. He fought hard! It was the Lord's decision to give him his wings and he definitely deserves them. Fly High Heath!

Gone too soon, I can say I was one lucky gal to have had you in my life. You were always so happy and positive everytime we would talk. I will always cherish all of our long conversations all the laughs we shared and all the plans we used to talk about making with our families. I love and miss you FOREVER. 😘❤
