Jerry Lynn Phillips

Jerry Lynn Phillips, age 76, went to be with Jesus on February 13, 2024, the same day Jesus brought him into this world, his birthday. He was at home surrounded by his family and is now in the arms of his Heavenly Father.

Jerry was born to parents J.L. and Charlie Phillips on February 13, 1948 in Turkey, Texas. He graduated 1966 in Brownfield, Texas. He married his wife Kathy Crouch on September 29, 1966.

He helped build Hillcrest Baptist Church in Brownwood, Texas, where he attended and became a Deacon of the church. He was a very loving husband, dad, grandad and friend to all. A hard-working man all his life, he could build anything and everything. He loved old cars and motorcycles, but most of all, he loved being with his family. He is going to be missed and is so loved by all of us.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 57 years, Kathy Phillips, his children Tina Phillips and fiance’ Doak, Billy Jack Phillips and wife Tylia, his grandchildren Trevor Watts and wife Morgan, Ethen Dohnal, Josh Mankin and wife Julyssa, and Mauri Watts, his great grandchildren, Taelyn Watts, Tripp Watts and Cash Way and his sister Shirley Baker and husband J.T. as well as many nieces, nephews and loving family members.
