Margaret Nelson

She was a homemaker who enjoyed reading and working puzzles. She was an awesome cook and loved to fish. She was a great Nana.

Margaret is survived by her daughters B.J. Schwartz of Granite Shoals, Latonnia Gripon & husband Greg of League City, Kathy Padgett & husband Shanne of Middleburg, Florida; sons Jimmy Doyle Nelson & wife Diane of Burnet, Charles Ervin Nelson & wife Donna of Granite Shoals; brother Tommie Joe West of Odessa; sisters-in-law Joyce McGinty of Burnet, Raynell Atkinson of Burnet, Cleon Sullivan of Burnet, Carolyn Tyler of Centerville; 15 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Margaret is also survived by many surrogate children.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Doyle B. Nelson in May 2005, brother Larry Boyd West and sister Barbara Janette Sharpe.

Funeral service will be Friday, September 24, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home with Bro. Max Copeland and Bro. Ross Chandler officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park. Pallbearers are Justin Roy Gripon, David Doyle Nelson, David McGinty, Charlie Nelson, Nat Tucker, Boyd Nelson, and Heath Nelson.

Arrangements are under the direction of Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home of Marble Falls.
