Cullie “Bud” I can only say you are dearly missed by not only myself but many others. Although I was the smallest kid in school, you never treated me that way. You included me in activities with the guys, those that many wished they would have enjoyed, but only heard about. Your influence carried me through college and pro ball, as well as fatherhood and my career. Years of fun and good memories with never any cross feelings or regrets. Always happy, upbeat, energetic, and of course in a hurry. You led us into many adventures, and now the most challenging one of all. We will see you sooner than you think, and I’m excited to know you have everything hustling, bustling, ready to go when we get there. I just wish you wouldn’t have hurried this time. We all luv u buddy. Hollywood

Robyn, Culpepper Children, Gloria, and Sandy
A smile and laugh that was infectious to the point that no one could be around him without beginning to laugh also. What a sad time, but remember the FUN times with Cullie. I will pray for each of you daily, hoping that the hole in your heart will heal quickly. Psalms 147:3 will help. Robyn, call me if you need anything.

I am very saddened to hear of the passing of Cullie. We met in college at Rice and were classmates, Owl teammates, and workmates at the Harris County Tax Department. I remember attending his wedding to Robin which was a very happy time in his life. We went in different directions after that time, but I would hear reports from common friends as to his activities. His life had meaning and brought joy to those whose path he crossed. He will be missed.
