Richard Dix Washington

Richard “Dick” Washington 86, of Marble Falls passed away Monday, June 25, 2012. He was born July 16, 1925 in Lubbock to Fred and Josephine Washington. Dick was a member of Pontotoc Masonic Lodge # 136.

Survivors include his wife Peggy Washington of Marble Falls; son and daughter-in-law, Richard G. Washington and Eileen of Marble Falls; daughter and son-in-law, Margaret Williams and Lee of Tulsa, OK., grandchildren; Joanie Grissom and husband Randy, John Day and wife Joey, Keagan Washington and Chris Shelby. He is also survived by his great grandchildren Heather Shelton, Dakota Dobbs, Garrett Dobbs, Mason Grissom, Jon Kurtis Day, Jericho Day Cornelson and husband Seth, Brittney Day, Holley Shelby and Hailey Shelby and two great-great grandchildren, Emmy and Braylon Cornelson.

Dick is preceded in death by his parents, first wife Donnie Marie Washington in 2000, brother Charles two sisters, Margaret and Cotton, mother-in-law Birma Jones and brother-in-law Millard Jones.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 27, 2012 from 7:00 pm - 9:00pm at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Marble Falls,

Texas. Graveside services will be held Friday, June 29, 2012 at 4:00 pm at Connerville Cemetery in Connerville, Oklahoma with Larry Hawkins officiating.
