Robert T. Sylvester

On June 16, 1947 Bob married his loving wife Betty in San Antonio.

Bob was born to Ted and Oral Sylvester. He grew up in Gaylord, Minnesota with two other brothers and one sister.

On June 14, 1952 Bob graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

During World War II Bob served as a navigator in the U.S. Army Air Corps.

Bob worked at Sandia National Laboratories as a mechanical engineer in Albuquerque, New Mexico for 30 years .

He and Betty moved to Granite Shoals in 1982. Bob served as a volunteer engineer and airport manager for the city of Granite Shoals.

Bob is survived by his wife Betty, daughter Nancy, son Barry and his wife Liza. Bob has two grandchildren Cameron and Kaycee all of Granite Shoals.

Memorial services will be held Saturday March 15, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, Marble Falls.

The family requests that if anyone so desires, memorials be made to Grace United Methodist Church 4007 Valley View Lane Granite Shoals TX 78654.
