Spencer Lyda

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Peggy, his son and daughter-in-law Warren Henderson and Pamela Cochran, and grandchildren Kai Jordan Henderson, Isla Marie Henderson, and Bodhi Cove Henderson. Spencer is also survived by his sister, Teresa Lyda and nephew James Lyda, as well as many cousins of the Lyda and Fry families. Warren and Joyce Lyda, his parents, both preceded him in death.

He was retired from Aflac as an Application Developer. He and his wife own and manage several rental properties in Georgia which kept them busy after retirement.

In his leisure time he enjoyed driving his Corvette, and traveling to Florida for long stays on the east coast near his grandchildren.

For those wishing to visit Spencer in his new home, please follow these directions:

1. Believe that Jesus is Christ the Son of God.

2. Confess that belief aloud before witnesses.

3. Be baptized to wash away all your sins.

4. Repent, turning from your sinful ways.

5. Remain faithful to God until you depart this earthly home.

Spencer invites you all to come see him, but asks that you take time to share the directions to his new home with as many people as you can before leaving.
