Susan was born to Eugene and Bobbye (Wright) Miller, November 8, 1955 in Olney, Texas.
Her family moved to Odessa, Texas in 1957. She attended Reagan Elementary, Bonham Junior High, and Permian High School where she graduated in 1974. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos in 1997.
Susan married Gary Ken Hall, her high school sweetheart, on February 9, 1980 in the home of Elton and Armedie Hall in Odessa. They moved to Marble Falls in 1982.
Gary and Susan were blessed with two devoted children. Jennifer Michelle was born in 1983, and Travis Michael was born in 1987.
Susan was fortunate to have many different talents and careers in her lifetime. Along life’s journey Susan’s jobs included being an orthodontist assistant, bank teller, real estate agent, antique dealer, homemaker, loving wife and mom, and a Mary Kay representative. But the career that brought her so much joy and satisfaction was that of an elementary school teacher. Susan taught for Leander ISD for twelve years. She had a positive influence on her students, parents, and coworkers at Fabian, Bagdad, and Steiner Ranch Elementaries.
Susan is survived by her husband Gary Hall of Marble Falls; daughter and son-in-law Jennifer and Krishna Perkins of San Antonio; son Travis Hall of Copperas Cove; parents Eugene and Bobbye Miller of Odessa; brother and sister-in-law Brian and Dana Miller of Frisco; and her beloved dogs Freckles and Brandie. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends.
