Thomas A. Johnson

Thomas is survived by his wife of 32 years, Theresa (Chaney) Johnson, son Raymond Johnson and wife Jodi and grandchildren Aaron Wade and Reagan of Vienna, South Dakota; daughter Tasha Ganzer and husband Ryan and grandchildren Brady and Jakob of Livingston; daughter Melissa Johnson of Granite Shoals and Son Aaron Johnson of Austin; sisters Janece Straley , Carmaletta Dale, Linda Chesser, Jean Hester and brothers Dean Johnson and Tony Johnson and brother-in-law Tommy Chaney and nieces Cassie Chaney and Paige Bailey and husband James and great nephews Riley and Remington and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Billy Johnson and sister Betty Johnson.

Thomas graduated from Leander High School in 1973 and served in the United States Air Force from 1974-1979. At the time of his death, he was employed at ACE Hardware in Marble Falls and took great pride in his work. He always had a “fish tale” of a story to share to get a smile out of you. Many will remember him for his signature mustache and silly jokes. Thomas enjoyed being very proud of our Armed Forces, fishing, the Dallas Cowboys, and most of all, spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and taught his children to do the same with the utmost respect for others. He will be missed greatly and never forgotten.

Visitation will be held Monday, July 23rd from 6:00 P. to 8:00 P.M. at the Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Marble Falls and a Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, July 24th at 10:00 A.M. at the Marble Falls City Cemetery. Condolences may be offered at www.clementswilcoxfuneralhome.com.
