Born in Bethesda, MD, Anne was the daughter of the late Francis J. FitzGerald and Florence Johnson FitzGerald. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph L. Frick; her son, Michael Frick; and her daughter-in-law, Stacey Frick.
Anne was a devoted and loving mother to ten children: Joseph (Lisa) of Sarasota, FL; Gary of Ocean City, MD; Robert (Rhonda) of Bishopville, MD; Theresa Simpson of Marco Island, FL; James of Naples, FL; Linda (Austin) Nammack of Locust Grove, VA; Lori Hyatt of Locust Grove, VA; Carol Lynn (Michael) Nakamura of Rockville, MD; and Craig (Julie) of Gaithersburg, MD.
She is survived by her sisters-in-law, Sue FitzGerald of Smithville, TN and Julie FitzGerald of Ashland, VA and brother-in-law, Richard Frick (Angie) of Gaithersburg, MD. She was preceded in death by her three brothers: James FitzGerald, Francis J. FitzGerald, Jr., and Donald FitzGerald. Anne also leaves behind 22 cherished grandchildren.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, August 5, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Hodges-Josberger Funeral Home located at 577 W. Elkcam Circle, Marco Island, FL 34145.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 6, at 10:30 a.m. at San Marco Catholic Church located at 851 San Marco Road, Marco Island, FL 34145.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society in Anne’s memory.
Burial will be private.
