Catherine Koch Bicek

Cathy was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. During her early adult life, she worked at Sears at the Sears tower in downtown Chicago where she met her life-long best friends: Beverly, Carmen, Charlene; then later met her friend Carol. Shortly after her mother, Diana Patt, moved to Southwest Florida, she followed suit. Cathy and her younger sister, Lenora, followed their passion for cosmetology. A few years into their hairdressing careers, they started their own salon together; Inn Style Salon has been running for more than 30 years on Marco Island. Cathy was so full of life and would fill the room with her infectious laughter. She had a love for traveling, crafting jewelry & artwork, cooking, playing Mahjong/cards, but above all- her family.

Cathy was preceded in death by her parents Diana and Joseph Patt and her daughter Layla. She is survived by her four wonderful children: Russell (Dawn) Bicek, Joseph Bicek, Alisha (Reynaldo) Garcia Pacheco, and Johanna Guarino, 2 siblings: Lenora (Frank) Kropik and Sean (Dawn) Patt, 5 grandchildren: Jessica, Kamryn, Coleman, Victoria, and Emanual. She is also survived by her nephews, nieces, their families, and her wonderful friends.

We will be holding a Celebration of Life Gathering on December 17, 2022 at Hodges-Josberger Funeral Home on Marco Island from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. All are welcome.
