Jermanok, Herbert, Age 85 passed away on January 24th in Atlanta, GA. He was born on September 10, 1938 in Brooklyn, New York to Harry and Mollie (Goldstein). Beloved father is survived by his children Lisa (Michael) Perry and Brian (Alana) Jermanok, his grandchildren Marissa Perry and Jace Jermanok. Also survived by sister Beverly Jaron. He was preceded in death by his wife Ginny Jermanok, brother Julie Jermanok, and his sister Roz Lowell.
Herb was a Navy veteran. He was also a member of the Jewish Congregation of Marco Island since 2002. He was a highly successful entrepreneur. He was widely read, making him well informed and well-spoken on historical and current events. Herb had a passion for traveling around the world and enjoyed boating in Marco Island.
A funeral service in his honor will take place on Sunday, January 28 at 10 a.m. at the Jewish Congregation of Marco Island, 991 Winterberry Dr., Marco Island, FL 34145. Graveside burial service will immediately follow at San Marco Cemetery, 489 W. Elkcam Cir., Marco Island, FL 34145. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
