Irene May Wright

Irene May Wright, 94, entered into eternal peace Monday, December 7, 2015 in Naples, FL. She and her beloved husband, Jim, of 72 years were also residents of Lachine, MI and past residence in Dearborn Heights, MI.

Irene was born April 15, 1921 and preceded in death by her parents Josephine and Francisco Carbajal; brothers Frank, Rueben and Ferdinand; sisters Otila, Virginia and Josephine. Irene grew up in El Paso, Texas until she met and married her devoted, dearest husband James Wright on November 13, 1943. She had many interests, square dancing, sewing, knitting, crocheting, puzzles, baking, fishing, cards, bingo, spending time with family and often used her beautiful singing voice that will now be enjoyed in a heavenly choir.

She also leaves loving memories to be cherished by her children Jeraldine (Robert) Price, Jacqueline Wright, John Wright and Giselle Wright (Lawrence Watson); treasured grandchildren Laura (Bill), Robert (Katie), Jason (Dana), James (Kristen), Lindsay and Trevor; adoring great grandchildren Robert, Shane, Seth, Stephanie, Brynn, Jake, Libby and Samantha; loving sister Alicia Fabela, sister-in-law Gloria Bowles, brother-in-laws Richard Wright and John Wright; plus many dear nieces, nephews and friends. Irene touched the hearts of everyone she met.

The family will be greeting friends and relatives at Hodges Josberger Funeral Home, 577 E Elkcam Circle, Marco Island, FL on Friday, December 18, 2015 at 10:00AM with Pastor Curt Ayers officiating service at 12:00PM.
