Katie Gaston, 54, of Marco Island Florida passed away unexpectedly on August 27, 2017. Katie was born Katherine Elizabeth Packlick on November 27, 1962, in Miami Florida to Harry Packlick and Barbara (Bettis) Hunt both deceased. Katie graduated from Miami Palmetto High School and was a gifted swimmer on the Sheeler Winton Swim Team. She loved flying right seat with her husband Bill, traveling the world, singing, and playing the piano. She is survived by her loving husband William Gaston; her beloved children, Amber Kunce, Phoenix Jones, Kolby Jones, and Sarah Jones; grandchildren Liam and Bryson Kunce, and Emerson Jones; sister Kristina Ash; brothers Harry Jr. and Edward Packlick; She is preceded in death by sister Fran Metz. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. A funeral mass will be held at San Marco Catholic Church in Marco Island on Saturday, September 2nd at 11a.m.
